Talaria Lodge
Talaria Ski Club offers an enhanced skiing experience, with a comfortable well heated lodge at the base of the Ben Lomond ski runs to which members and guests retreat for convivial evenings and a good night’s rest after a hard day on the slopes.
Extensive windows around the living areas of the lodge allow guests to enjoy the benefit of all-day light, and complement it's very open layout. Upstairs, there are two separate comfortable lounges, a large dining area, a spacious kitchen with gas stoves and oven, and a microwave, a large bunkroom and two smaller family bunkrooms. Downstairs features a large workshop, a wet area and drying room, bathrooms with showers, another large bunkroom, and two smaller family-sized bunkrooms, along with a ski storage area. The lodge is heated by four oil heaters, and lit by gas lamps, with electric light available when the generator is running.
The lodge is well stocked with games and books and is a cosy retreat, whatever the weather outside.
The large well-appointed kitchen is ideal for anything from cooking up a pile of jaffles for lunch, to culinary extravaganzas and cook-off's.
